Hair transplantation is a frequent treatment for hair thinning or loss. During this surgery, the cosmetic surgeon moves hair follicles from one part of your body to another, such as your head. This treatment is relatively safe in terms of side effects. Skin edema, redness, or sensitivity are common adverse effects. You may book a hair plantation treatment at My Hair Transplant Clinics.

Here are few things to avoid after hair restoration procedure:

  • Driving

Sedation is used to numb the patient’s head throughout the process, completed with ease. If you’re traveling alone, though, a cab or other kind of public transportation will get you to your destination

  • Sleeping flat

After a hair transplant, your head and forehead may enlarge. Sleep with your head elevated at least seven days a week on your bed.

  • Not taking medicines

Because a hair transplant is so extensive, you should avoid making this error. To get better quickly, you must take antibiotics. Avoid using heavy machinery and heed all safety precautions.

  • Ignore the ice packs

Swelling following an injury is best treated with ice compression. This therapy has the potential to inflate the area above the brows, so don’t overlook it.

  • Scrubbing your hair

For at least 48 hours following the surgery, the doctor will advise you not to wash your hair. However, if you are permitted to do so, you must use reasonable care and avoid scrubbing when cleaning your hair. To avoid any mishaps, use a gentle hand when drizzling water.

  • Interactive sunlight exposure

For at least two weeks after the procedure, it is advised not to be exposed to direct sunlight.  Low-risk sunburn is the result of this strategy.

  • Sweating

If you’ve just had hair transplantation, you should avoid sweating.

  • Smoking and consuming alcoholic beverages

Smoking and drinking alcohol can decrease the effectiveness of medications; therefore, refrain from doing so. These are the causes of your body’s dehydration.

  • Not eating healthy food

Start eating healthy foods to speed up the healing process. Your body is dehydrated, and your nourishment intake is reduced.

  • Not drinking plenty of water

It is necessary to hydrate your body with plenty of water during and after the procedure. You must drink 10% more water than you drink daily.
